Deep inside the skin we can see the material we are made of.

(Oil painting, 2009)

This painting shows a representation of collective consciousness, still a physical experience but without spatial limits. In this representation, the usual perceptual reality of our daily life with streets, cars and houses, is only seen through the ` eyes’ . The red region around this view is to emphasize the organic or biological proximity of the perceptual experience. From the physical and therefore objective point of view of our physical existence, nothing grants that consciousness is a phenomenon localized in our heads and grounded or governed by the point of view of the `I’, since the latter is the essence of the subjectivity. On the contrary, the `physical consciousness’ implies non localization or objective insight of reality. The painting tries to convey this notion of consciousness.
